Mr. Anil Bhalla
Managing Partner

Anil Bhalla is the managing partner of JC Bhalla and Co and heads the Taxation division of the firm. He has over 50 years of experience in professional services both in India and Overseas. Anil brings great experience and perspective to our team as he has been the tax advisor and counsel for various multinational entities. His area of expertise includes representation in income tax matters, appeal proceedings and transfer pricing compliances (tax computations, filing of ITR, FCRA, TDS statements, AIR, SFT reports, POEM, BEPS etc).
He has represented before appellate authorities including Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and Authority for Advance Rulings in respect of various matters. He has been a Member of the Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (‘ICAI’) 1976-79 and its Chairman in 1978-79.
Mr. Sudhir Mallick

Sudhir Mallick has been a partner with JC Bhalla and Co since 1976. He is a senior partner with the Audit division of the firm. He has had hands on experience and brings much needed guidance and perspective to our team. He has sound knowledge of the Indian Companies Act and Indian Income Tax Act and brings in tax and compliance expertise to the firm.
He has been an advisor to multiple merger, demerger, slump sale and restructuring assignments. Has wide exposure to Power, Hotel/Tourism, Sugar, Heavy engineering and the NGO/ Education sector etc.
Mr. Varun Mehta

Varun Mehta has been a Partner at JC Bhalla & Co since January 2000. He has over 54 years of experience in industrial organisations covering varied sectors of the economy.
He has held positions of responsibility in all areas of corporate accounts and finance including internal audit, secretarial and board related functions. He has achieved distinction in the fields of Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Control, Working Capital Management and Project Financing.
Mr. Rajesh Sethi

Rajesh Sethi has been a partner with JC Bhalla and Co since 1989. He is a senior partner with the Audit division of the firm. His experience in statutory audit has been in the Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Automotive, Construction, Power, Electrical, Paints and Chemical sectors etc.
He has immense experience of conducting statutory audits of NPO/NGO sector. He brings in tax and compliance expertise to the firm. Besides, he is also into Direct Taxes mainly catering to large telecom clients and manufacturing companies.
Mr. Akhil Bhalla

Akhil Bhalla works with a range of clients from growing businesses to listed companies. Over the last 15 years he has acted for clients in a broad range of sectors including Consumer and Industrial products, Telecom, BPO, Internet, Infrastructure, NGO and Membership bodies and Services both in India and the United Kingdom. He has been closely involved in guiding his clients in establishing overseas operations and has a keen interest in International Taxation and Transfer Pricing.
Mr. Abhishek Mehta

Abhishek Mehta is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA) and has been a partner at J.C. Bhalla and Company since 2012. He has over 15 years of post-qualification experience in handling statutory audits. His post-qualification experience includes statutory audits of listed and private clients in industries such as Real Estate, Manufacturing, Service and Non-banking financial companies.
The auditing of non-profit organizations is another aspect of his experience. He has sound knowledge of Ind AS, internal financial controls, the Companies Act of 2013, and the Income Tax Act of 1961. His professional qualifications include a Diploma in IFR (International Financial Reporting) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA), a Certificate course in New Age Auditor from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Piyush is a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of post qualification experience in statutory audit and taxation in manufacturing, consulting and Corporate sector. His experience includes representation in assessment proceedings, appellate proceedings, prosecution, advisory in domestic and international tax matters including transfer pricing and tax compliance (tax computations, filing of ITR, FCRA, TDS statements, AIR, SFT reports).
He is also enriched with research work and deliberations on various matters such as ICDS, IND AS, POEM, BEPS, Social Security laws and other direct tax issues.
Ms. Aanchal Mittal

Aanchal Mittal is a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of post-qualification experience in finance, taxation and audits in both Consulting and Corporate sector. She has a vide experience in handling tax litigation of various clients (which includes representation before assessing officers, CIT(A), CIT,DRP etc.), client management, liasoning with revenue authorities and team management.
She has provided tax advisories on various domestic and international tax matters including matters related to withholding taxes, DTAA, POEM, BEPS, MLI, ICDS etc. She is well adept in tax compliances, preparation of financial statements, Tax and Statutory audit and financial restructuring of the companies. She is also well versed with Corporate laws, SEBI/FEMA regulation, RBI Master Circulars, GST etc.
Mr. Anshuman Mallick

Anshuman Mallick is a Fellow Chartered Accountant(FCA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
He is an Audit Partner with J.C.Bhalla & Co. with more than 6 years of experience in leading and performing audits.He has handled public and private sector clients and has significant experience in the Engineering and Construction Industry, Consulting Industry, Manufacturing Industry, Hospitality Industry, IT Industry, Real Estate Industry and Not for Profit Organizations.
He has extensive experience with financial statement audits, limited reviews, compilations, and special projects. He has directed, trained, and managed multiple engagement teams in performing financial statements and compliance audits of companies, partnerships, not for profit and government entities. He has good knowledge of Income Tax Act, Companies Act, Generally Accepted Accounting Practices in India, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
He is a qualified DISA (Diploma in Information Systems Audit) professional from ICAI and ICAI certified Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) professional.
